Blokus is one of the most popular board games. Why? It carefully balances challenge, time to completion and interactive play.

The rules are pretty simple to learn. Fit all of your pieces onto the board touching at least one corner of your pieces already on the board. Strategic thinking helps as you block moves from your opponent and provides interactive fun.

The game takes about 30 minutes to complete, depending on the skill of the players. The game is most fun with two to four player, although a single person can play Blokus as well. The game costs $24 at Amazon.
